The official name for Poland is the “Republic of Poland.” The capital is Warsaw. The population is 39 million.

Poland is the 69th largest country and the 9th largest in Europe. Poland joined NATO in 1999 and became a member of the European Union in 2004. The White Tailed Eagle is their national symbol.
